US "After Hours" Trading Session

BMO InvestorLine offers access to an "After Hours" Trading Session (AHTS) of all listed NYSE and NASDAQ stocks. During this extended trading session, BMO InvestorLine clients will be able to execute trades at a limit price on a best efforts basis from 4:15 PM ET to 5:00 PM ET. (Note: While trades can be executed till 7:00PM ET, orders will only be accepted till 5:00 PM ET)

What orders are eligible for this trading session?

In order to place a trade or cancel an order eligible for the After Hours Trading Session, please phone a BMO InvestorLine Representative. Please inform the Trading Representative the order is for the After Hours Trading Session, otherwise the order will be submitted for the next business day.

All client orders entered after 4:00 PM ET through the BMO InvestorLine web site or the Automated Telephone Trading system will not participate in the extended After Hours Trading Session and will be entered for trading the following business day.

How do I change or cancel an outstanding order?

If you wish to change the quantity of your Limit Order or Cancel your order for the AHTS, please phone your BMO InvestorLine Representative before 5:00 PM ET.

Are there any restrictions that can be placed on orders eligible for the AHTS?

Restricted Orders (such as All or Nothing or Minimum Quantity special instructions) and Market Orders are not eligible to participate in the AHTS. Only Limit order in multiples of board lots are eligible to be matched.

Can I trade After Hours on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB)?

No, the OTCBB does not have an After Hours Trading Session.
