With BMO InvestorLine Alerts, you can stay connected to stock information that is most important to you, from virtually anywhere. Receive alerts on your cell phones, PDAs or your desktop email notifying you when your stocks rise or fall by the customizable triggers your set. Also receive news on your favorite stocks.

Using Alerts is easy!

Set-up Alerts

Simply choose Stocks & News Alerts under the Quotes & Tools menu from your account navigation. Follow the instructions and proceed to the Edit Alerts Profile page. Provide the email address of where you want to receive your alerts. You can even suspend alert delivery while you are traveling without losing your saved preferences.

Adding Alerts is Easy

From the Create/Edit Alerts page, choose from thousands of equity symbols. You can manually enter or search for the symbol representing the company that you want to track. For added convenience, within the Holdings section, symbols can be imported into the Alerts Hub with one click.

Customize your Alerts

As a BMO InvestorLine client, you can choose from a number of different price events and market changes that matter the most to you. On the Edit Alerts page choose the variables that will trigger an alert for each symbol. If desired, news alerts from Reuters can also be triggered.

Receive Alerts in HTML, Text or Abbreviated Text format

Optimize how your alerts will be displayed when you receive them. You can choose the format that works best for your mobile device or email in Alert Delivery Options. Abbreviated text format is specially designed for mobile phones that can only view short messages.
