Our password management
feature lets you decide when you want to change your passwords,
anytime, anywhere. This feature will allow you to select or
change your passwords directly online, or through
our Automated Telephone Trading service.
Create your password, challenge questions & responses –
You can create a password and three challenge questions and
answers that will allow you to reset your password online if you forget it.
Change your passwords real-time – Your password changes
will take effect immediately, so you can use your new passwords
right away on our web site or Automated Telephone Trading service.
Set-up a separate Trading Password – In addition, you will
also have the ability to set up a separate trading password. By
setting up a trading password that is different from your access
password, you add one more level of security over your financial
transactions.

Create Password Challenge Questions & Responses |

Simply choose Password Management, then Account under the Account Services menu to create a set of three challenge questions and responses. They will help us confirm your identify in case you forget your password. Password management is now in your hands.

Change your Account Access Password |

You can also change your Account Password under the same navigation. To change your account password select a 6-character password which is ideally a combination of letters and numbers. Regular password changes are recommended for increased security.

Change your Trading Password |

 |
You can assign a trading password that is separate and distinct from
your account password. Simply choose Password Management, then Trading under
the Account Services menu on the top navigation. Your trading
password is required to confirm your trades before we process your
order.

Change your User ID Password |
|

BMO InvestorLine clients can enjoy easier online access by creating a User ID. Visit
User IDs in our Products & Services section of
the site for full details.
You can manage your User ID Password online if you signed in with
the User ID. Simply select Password Management, then User ID under the Account
Services menu on the top navigation. Your User ID Password should be 6 characters
in length, in any combination of letters or numbers. Create three
challenge questions and responses to help us authenticate your
identity so you can reset your password whenever you forget it.

You can manage your passwords through our Automated Telephone Trading service.
Simply select Option 5 to Change Passwords or Accounts from
the main menu. Then select Option 2 to Change Account Access Password;
or Option 3 to Change Trading Password.
