HOW TO ENTER
No purchase necessary. The Contest begins on December 9, 2010 at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) and ends on February 28, 2011 at 11:59:59 PM ET (the "Contest Period").

To enter, simply maintain your consolidated asset balance across all of your BMO InvestorLine® accounts (as listed in your "A special thanks to you" MyLink® message) as of December 9, 2010 12:00:00 AM. The consolidated asset balance across your qualifying BMO InvestorLine accounts must not decrease in value during the Contest Period.

ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to clients of BMO InvestorLine who have received a MyLink message, an email, a letter or phone call about the promotion directly from BMO InvestorLine.

The Contest is open to residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry,except employees (and those with whom such employees are domiciled) of the Bank of Montreal, its affiliated companies or agents, advertising and promotion agencies and the contest judges.

PRIZES
Grand prize: There will be one (1) grand prize available to be won, consisting of Twenty-Five Hundred Canadian Dollars (C$2,500) in cash to be deposited into the winner's account as specified herein (the "Prize"). Once the process for the draw and winner selection has occurred (as outlined below), BMO InvestorLine will contact the declared winner to determine the account in which the Prize will be deposited. The winner may choose to deposit the C$2,500 cash prize into one of the following BMO InvestorLine accounts: Cash, Margin, Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) or Registered Educational Savings Plan (RESP). Only accounts listed herein are eligible. The Prize must be accepted as awarded, and no substitutions for, or transfer of the Prize will be allowed.

Important note: For clients with an RSP account, the Prize will be deposited in the account by BMO InvestorLine on behalf of the issuer, BMO Trust Company. The Prize deposited into the account will not be considered a contribution; you will not receive a tax receipt.

DRAW AND WINNER SELECTION
On March 31, 2011, in Oakville, Ontario at 2:00 PM ET, one (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw conducted by Blazing Design from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Blazing Design is a third-party Creative Strategic Communications Agency. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Before being declared a winner: the selected entrant must first correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone at a mutually convenient time.

The selected entrant will be contacted by phone or mail, and will be required to sign and return within 10 business days of notification a declaration of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, which:

a. confirms compliance with the contest rules;
b. releases the Bank of Montreal, its affiliated companies and agents, advertising and promotion agencies, Blazing Design and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with the Contest, the entrant's participation therein and/or the awarding and use or misuse of the prize or any portion thereof; and
c. grants to BMO InvestorLine the right to use the selected entrant's name, address and likeness in any form of advertising relating to the Contest without further notice or compensation.

If a selected entrant: (i) cannot be contacted by mail or telephone within thirty (30) calendar days of selection or there is a return of any prior notification as undeliverable;
(ii) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; or (iii) fails to return the contest documents within the specified time, the he/she will be disqualified and will forfeit the Prize, and BMO InvestorLine reserves the right to select an alternate entrant from among the remaining eligible entries.

GENERAL

By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Contest Rules. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where prohibited by law. The decisions of Blazing Design and BMO InvestorLine with respect to all aspects of this Contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal.

BMO InvestorLine reserves the right, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, to withdraw or amend this Contest in any way, in the event of an error, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of BMO InvestorLine that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Rules.

Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, BMO InvestorLine reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

BMO InvestorLine reserves the right, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, to cancel or suspend the online portion of the Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of BMO InvestorLine corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such attempt be made, BMO InvestorLine reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

BMO InvestorLine, with the consent of the Régie, reserves the right to cancel or suspend this contest in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error or any kind without prior notice or obligation.

For Quebec residents: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of the prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

By entering this contest, each entrant expressly consents to BMO InvestorLine, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry only for the purpose of administering the contest and in accordance with BMO InvestorLine's Privacy Policy unless the entrant otherwise agrees to receive further communications from BMO InvestorLine.

In addition, BMO InvestorLine may retain and use this information for future marketing of its products and services to you and may share it within the Bank of Montreal its subsidiaries and affiliates, which provides deposit, loan, investment, securities, brokerage, insurance, trust and other products and services. BMO InvestorLine is not responsible for any failure of the website during the Contest Period, including any problems or technological malfunctions of any computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to the entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from downloading any material in the Contest, all of which may affect an entrant's ability to participate in the Contest.
