Remember to cover your trades

It is important that all trades conducted in your account are covered within the applicable settlement period. For margin accounts, please ensure all margin calls are settled before end of the day.

There are several ways you can fund your account to bring it back to good standing:

• Transfer funds from your BMO account using our Move Money feature. Select “Move Money” from the “Account Services” tab.
• Sell securities from your account.
• Make a cash or cheque deposit into your non-registered account via the AccountLink Service by visiting a BMO branch or bank machine.

If your account is out of good standing, without your action, we will be required to bring your account back to good standing, which may include selling securities and/or conducting foreign exchange transactions on your behalf.
